# Elizabeth Mitchell

Elizabeth Mitchell (they/she) is software developer, UX designer, information architect, and project manager. They are originally from Detroit, MI and live in southeast Michigan. They work at [Sassafras Tech Collective](https://sassafras.coop/), a unionized worker cooperative that designs and builds technology for justice and joy. She previously helped design, develop, and improve accessibility on Thunderbird Desktop as a Senior UX Developer at MZLA/Mozilla. They are a community member of [DIA Design Guild](https://www.diadesign.io/), an organization that helps UX professionals grow and thrive. They have an M.A. in Literature from Eastern Michigan University and are pursuing an M.A. in Creative Writing from the same school.
