# Become a speaker at WIAD Columbus

{% hint style="success" %}
World IA Day Columbus 2026 is on March 7, 2026. [The tickets are available at Eventbrite.](https://www.eventbrite.com/e/world-ia-day-columbus-2026-tickets-1980695936866) The event is free, but tickets are limited: don’t miss out!
{% endhint %}

This year’s theme, [**Designing for Meaning**](https://www.information-architecture.world/worldiaday/events/world-ia-day-2026), challenges us to look beyond structure and explore how information becomes human, helpful, and purposeful. In a city built by systems getting infuse by AI systems, how Information Architecture can support us to have a better, meaningful life?

We invite you to submit a **lightning talk** that highlights how *you* find meaning in your IA practice. Whether you’re mapping journeys, shaping taxonomies, clarifying content, or designing systems that support the people of Columbus, **your perspective matters**. Share your ideas. Inspire the community. Help us design meaning together.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://columbus.worldiaday.org/events/become-a-speaker-at-wiad-columbus.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
